a fiber based photographic paper with unique touch

BERGGER CB Style

semi-glossy / warmtone / ivory base

The analogue paper BERGGER variable CB Style is a semi-glossy warm tone fiber based photographic paper with a distinctive ivory base.

Its chlorobromide emulsion is suitable for Selenium (BERGGER Selenium) or Gold (BERGGER Goldtoner) toning.

Very popular among professional photographers and printers, this paper is notably used by the famous Finnish photographer Pentti Sammallahti to print many of his iconic photographs, such as the one on the cover of his latest published book: Me Kaski. BERGGER CB Style x Warmtone Developer

Printed in a warm tone developer, the analogue baryta paper BERGGER CB Style could deliver very warm tone prints. Currently on show at the Fondation Henri Cartier Bresson in Paris, the modern prints from the exhibition "Bike Trip, USA, 1939" by American female photographer Ruth Orkin, printed by Guillaume Geneste (La chambre noire) on CB Style paper, developed in a warm toner to obtain sepia-like tones.

CB Style x Lith Printing

For the lovers of lith printing it’s difficult to find modern papers suitable with the process. The BERGGER Variable CB Style processed in lith developers shows a very attractive chocolate tone and produces pictures with a distinctive look. It is notably used by photographer Olivier Marchesi to obtain renderings close to Impressionism.
